(Hamilton, NY – Jan. 2013) The Partnership for Community Development’s Small Business Resource Center will offer a free seminar for current and prospective small business owners in Hamilton on Jan. 16 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the PCD’s offices, 11 Payne St. in Hamilton.
John Elberson, Vice President of Commercial Banking for Alliance Bank, will speak on commercial finance and lending options for small businesses. Topics will include private lenders, county and non-profit resources, and what lenders look for in an application for financing.

Elberson holds a degree in Business Administration from LeMoyne College and completed professional training at the American Institute of Banking before becoming a loan officer with Alliance Bank. Following that he served as Vice President and Commercial Manager for M&T Bank prior to returning to Alliance in his current position as Vice President of Commercial Banking and Market Executive.
