(Hamilton, NY – Jan. 2013) Death of a Salesman will be produced by The Palace Players, Hamilton’s community theater group, and directed by Alessandro Trinca. The second round of auditions for the Pulitzer Prize winning play will be Monday Jan. 14 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Rehearsals will take place from mid-January up to performances, March 22 and 23.

The production will present three shows at The Palace Theater: Friday March 22 at 9:30 a.m. for local schools and again at 8 p.m. for the public and Saturday March 23 at 8 p.m.

A detailed rehearsal schedule will be distributed to all actors after casting is completed.  When attending auditions be prepared to read from selected sides of the play. We await your attendance to this audition, and ask that you send this notice to anyone you may feel would have interest.

The remaining characters in the play to be cast include: Biff Loman- Willy’s oldest son who was once a high school football star with several scholarship opportunities, but who for the last 14 years has been “unable to find himself”; Charley- a longtime friend of Willy’s who has loaned him money every month ever since Willy was placed on straight commission; Jenny- Charley’s secretary; Stanley- a young waiter; Miss Forsythe and Letta- two women Happy picks up at the restaurant.
