(Hamilton, NY – Feb. 2013) Wondering what’s new at the Hamilton Public Library? We have a few recent additions to our adult science fiction collection.

Cold Days: a Novel of the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher is an action-packed tale of battles between good and evil and the eternal fight for self-preservation. Author Steven Erikson’s novel Forge of Darkness explores a clash of forces over ancient powers and the bystanders caught in the middle.

All library patrons and visiting groups or organizations are welcome to use our black-and-white printer, copier and fax machines. As of March 1, the copier and printer will be available at the rate of 20 cents per page.

The rate for sending or receiving a fax at the library will remain $1 per page.

Are you looking for a way to share your creative talents? The library is looking forward to hosting a Community Art Show again this spring. We encourage community members to select one of their favorite pieces to showcase.

Participants are also invited to submit a one-page description of their artwork or a brief biography for inclusion in our exhibition catalog. All artwork and artist information should be brought to the library during our regular hours between Monday, March 25, and Saturday, March 30.

Entry forms will be available at the circulation desk and should accompany all artwork.

We are also looking for volunteers to help with displaying this art exhibit in our gallery space Tuesday, April 2. If you are interested in volunteering your time and talents to help with the art show, please contact me.
