An evening of visual art, local food and drink

(Hamilton, NY – March 2013) All are invited to enjoy “The Artful Palate,” an evening of local art, gourmet foods, and drink to be held on Saturday March 16 from 5 to 8 p.m. at The Broad Street Gallery, 20 Broad St. in Hamilton.

Local French-inspired pastries, maple products, gourmet cheese,  grass-fed butter, bison, organic sunflower products, rhubarb sauce, jams and salsas will be available for free tasting and purchase from eight family farms.

Located in the heart of historic downtown Hamilton, the Broad Street Gallery is a fine arts cooperative consisting of local and regional artists encompassing a wide variety of mediums and styles. Admission this event is free.

Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Agricultural Economic Development program, which works to build strong communities by connecting farms to new consumers, has brought together the farms for this event. The Broad Street Gallery opened in December of 2011 to provide a showcase for area professional artists working in a variety of media.

The Hamilton Center for the Arts is dedicated to providing art enrichment to children, teens, and adults through a diverse offering of classes, programs, performances, and exhibits. It is desired that we may grow to understand ourselves and each other better through the expression of diverse thoughts, ideas and beliefs.
