2013 Rabies Clinic Schedule Forming

Madison County Public Health News

(Wampsville, NY – March 2013) Madison County will again offer rabies vaccination clinics for dogs, cats and ferrets that are at least 3 months old. The first clinic will be held March 27 at the Madison Fire House on Route 20 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Eleven additional clinics will be held throughout the county until the final clinic Saturday, Dec. 7.

Public Health Law requires these animals to be vaccinated by the time they are 4 months old. Vaccinating your pet from the rabies virus protects the public and other animals. All animals at the clinics must be on appropriate leashes or in carriers.

A voluntary $5 donation per pet is requested.

The entire rabies clinic schedule can be found at www.healthymadisoncounty.org.

You can make online appointment sign-ups for the Wampsville, Chittenango or Morrisville Clinics at the website. You may also call the Environmental Health Division at 315.366.2526 to make an appointment at any of the clinics.
