(Canastota, NY – April 2013) Curious George Swings into Spring at the Great Swamp Conservancy will be presented April 13 at the GSC activity barn, 8375 North Main St., Canastota.
Co-sponsored with WCNY-TV there will be a special sneak peek preview of the new TV special, “Curious George Swings into Spring.”
In addition, attendees will plant flower seeds and learn about water conservation with rain barrels.
The Swamp Snappers Camera Club will give a quick lesson on how to take quality photos and each family will receive a disposable camera to record the day’s adventures.
There also will be a guided “Swamp Tromp” to the wetlands. Attendees should dress warm (the barn is unheated) and wear rubber boots- the swamp is wet and muddy.
Snacks will be provided for participants.
