Madison County Fair Amusements, Entertainment Lining Up for 2013

(Brookfield, NY – April 2013) Main Event Amusements will return to the Madison County Fair this summer. The operation plays festivals, church carnivals and many other types of events.

Main Event Amusements was founded in 2002 in Solvay. The owners have more than 30 years of experience in mobile concessions and are members of the New York State Show Peoples’ Association and the New York State Association of Agricultural Fairs.

The business showcases an array of rides, with signature pieces such as the Arctic Blast and the Merry Go Round, as well as many food and game concessions. The season runs from May to October, and they play spots that range from one-day festivals to six-day fairs from Albany to Buffalo.

Main Event Amusements also tries to have an ATM available on its midway.

Main Event Amusements is proud to provide quality family amusements, striving to provide guests with a small amusement park atmosphere where uniformed employees are easy to find.

According to Main Event Amusements, they have added two new rides for 2013 – Music Fest and Raiders – though not all rides are available at all shows.

Making their debut helping to provide attractions at the fair this year is Entertainment Trading Co. of Utica, an outfit that books musical acts, including national acts such as Survivor, slated to perform at this year’s fair with Wicked and Red Hush.

According to its website, Entertainment Trading Company is a full-service entertainment host with more than 15 years’ experience in the entertainment business. Entertainment Trading started out on the road with local music acts, helping with full stage set-up, sound and lighting, and staff have worked in all the fields of the business.

Today, Entertainment Trading Company boasts a full team of the world’s best crew from stage hands to office staff, stage consultants and managers who have been all over the world, working with national acts and their booking agents.

The schedule for all Fair events is continuing to evolve; the Courier will bring you those details as they develop.
