Featuring music by Karen Savoca with Pete Heitzman
(Oneida, NY – April 2013) A free concert to celebrate volunteerism is fast approaching. It is planned for Thursday April 25 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Kallet Civic Center in downtown Oneida featuring Karen Savoca with Pete Heitzman.
The purpose is to promote volunteerism and support community service efforts in Madison County. Sponsored by the Volunteer Services Alliance, the event has two goals; to recognize and celebrate volunteers and to provide a forum for non-profits to display their mission and work to the community.
The event is free to all community members.
From museums to food cupboards, volunteers make it possible for the wide array of services available to all. Volunteer efforts and time are very much appreciated and the VSA would like to express that appreciation by hosting this volunteer fair and concert. All area volunteers and friends are invited.
There will be snacks and desserts available while supplies last.
A free tote bag will be given to the first 100 in attendance.
