Photo shows some of the volunteers that took part in the inaugural CNY Walk for Wounded Veterans earlier today at The Root Farm in Verona, NY. The event was coordinated by Rob Thrasher.
(Verona, NY – April 13, 2013) “I was honored to take part in the inaugural CNY Walk for Wounded Veterans at The Root Farm,” said Councilman, Fritz Scherz. “It’s nice to see great community events taking place…especially in Verona! Hats off to Rob Thrasher for coordinating this event and to all the volunteers who took part. It was special to have two Gold Star families take part in this event, as Sue Sigsbee as well as Agnes and Mike Geary attended. Kudos to The Root Farm, too, for providing a venue for this event! It’s events like this that make a community special!”
