(Oneida, NY- June 2013) The monthly meeting of the Oneida Rail Trail Committee will be on Thursday June 27 at 6 p.m. at the Oneida Rec Center.  The meetings are open and the public is invited and encouraged to attend.

The Oneida Rail Trail Committee meets the last Thursday of every month with the goal of creating a muti-use trail system using the footprint of the three historic railroads that traversed through the area at the turn of the century.  This multi-use trial system will connect Oneida County to the East, Madison County’s Seat to the West and the Erie Canalway Trail.

Volunteers are needed for all aspects of trail development.  To be added to the volunteer database or for more information call the Oneida Rec Center at 363-3590.
