(Oneida, NY – June 2013) The Oneida Public Library will host an AARP Driver Safety Course at the library on Broad Street Monday July 15 and Tuesday July 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participants must attend both days to complete the course. Any individual with a valid driver’s license is encouraged to apply.
To register, call Robert Fish at 363-0455. A check or money order, made payable to AARP should be mailed to Robert Fish, 1168 Crescent Ave., Oneida. The course fee is $17 for AARP members and $19 for non-members.
The two-day refresher course takes into account many traffic problems that may confront drivers. All sessions will be done with student workbooks, audio/visuals and classroom discussions pertinent to driver safety.
Course participation may also allow a participant to receive a discount on vehicle insurance premiums for three years.
