images(Randallsville) Lebanon Democrats will hold their party caucus to choose and nominate candidates for town office Saturday, Aug. 24, at 9 a.m., at the Smith Valley Community Center in Randallsville at the corner of River and Randallsville roads.

All registered Democrats are invited to attend.

Positions up for election include town supervisor, town clerk and tax collector, two town council positions, town highway superintendent and town justice.

Town Supervisor Jim Goldstein will be the featured speaker to give a brief update on the issues facing the town of Lebanon and Madison County at this time including the impact of the state tax cap, budgetary challenges, the recent flooding in the township and natural gas development policy issues at the local, state and federal level.

The caucus is open to the public, anyone may attend but only registered Democrats are eligible to participate and vote. Refreshments will be served.
