(Madison County, NY – March 2014) Join forces with Madison County Habitat for Humanity as we build homes for Veterans in need. There will be an information meeting at noon, March 15, at the Sullivan Free Library in Chittenango. This is a meeting to understand what help is necessary – besides swinging a hammer.

This year marks the 30th anniversary for Habitat for Humanity in Madison County. Along with this birthday comes the goal to build two homes for Veterans and their families in Chittenango. To accomplish this objective, Madison County Habitat for Humanity needs people for the following committees: fund raising/public relations, family selection/support, hospitality and volunteer support and construction.

The time required to volunteer on these committees ranges from two to four hours a week, to whatever an individual is willing to put in.

To learn more, Madison County Habitat invites you to attend the March 15 informational meeting at Sullivan Free Library, 101 Falls Blvd.

If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to help, contact us at www.madisoncountyhfh@madisoncountyhabitat.org or 314-510-5665. Madison County Habitat for Humanity is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International.
