(Cazenovia, NY – Oct. 2015) The Open Your Heart event to benefit Caz Cares will be held on Saturday Nov. 7 in the Meeting House behind the Presbyterian Church in Cazenovia (corner of Sullivan and Route 20) from 7 to 9 p.m.  This is an evening of fun, food, music and fundraising for everyone in the Cazenovia Community.

The Meeting House entrance is on Sullivan Street.

This year’s auction features some items of local interest, perhaps the most unusual is a 20 minute ride in a fully restored World War II Boeing-Stearman bi-plane.

Though a World War II trainer, the Stearman easily conjures up the feeling of being a barnstormer or pilot in a traveling Flying Circus in flight. The rush of air over the plane’s open cockpits and the singing vibration of the engine and bracing wires in flight are a symphony for the aviation enthusiast.

The Stearman is an ideal flight for first-timers and seasoned professionals alike.
