(Hamilton, NY – Nov. 2015) Throughout the month of November the Hamilton Public Library is participating in the Community Action Partnership’s Hunger & Homelessness Hygiene Challenge. We’ll be collecting hygiene items in a box across from the circulation desk all month, for CAP to use in their support of families and individuals in need throughout Madison County. Please consider donating items if you are able, and let’s see how many we can help collect for them throughout the month!  The Top 10 Most Needed Items Are…

Toothbrush

Men/Women Deodorants

Toothpaste Baby Wipes
Toilet Paper Feminine Hygiene Products
Shampoo/Conditioner Soap/Body Wash
Band-Aids

Facial Tissue

A reminder that there is an Election on Tuesday, Nov. 3 and as the library is a polling place we have made arrangements to hold our story time programs at the Madison Lane Apartments at 10:30am that day.  As you enter the apartment complex, look for the entrance to their Community Room between buildings #2 & #3.  Joan Ford will meet us there to share some special music! Madison Lane residents are welcome to join us for some fun stories, songs, and entertainment!

Many thanks to all the staff and clients at Crouse Community Center Adult Day Services for hosting a Halloween Party for our story time families on Oct. 27 and to our friends at Madison Lane for their hospitality on Election Day.  These are such wonderful opportunities to bring community members together, and we appreciate their generosity.

Additional information about Library resources, programs and policies, as well as access to our online services, is available through the Library website http://midyorklib.org/hamilton/.

The Library is normally open Monday-Friday, 10am to 7pm, and Saturday, 10am to1pm. Please visit or call the Library (315) 824-3060 during these hours for assistance. The book drop at the front of the building is always available for your convenience.
