(Hamilton, NY – Dec. 2015) Looking for a little down time and change of scenery for yourself or visitors from out of town? Come enjoy our winter village display and challenge yourself with our I-spy game cards. Browse and borrow a book from one of our themed displays featuring Hanukkah, Christmas, peace, and cooking. Settle into the big chair in the fireplace room and relax with a magazine or newspaper.

Feast your eyes on the wonderful watercolor paintings by artist Anne Stillwaggon, currently featured in our gallery space.

Shop at our book sale table, buy-one-get-one free video sale, or make a donation for our “wish tree” or purchase from our selection notecards, earrings, and tote bags.  Use a computer to browse the Internet, check your email, or find information online.

Stroll through the local history museum and explore the Member’s Choice exhibit curated by the Hamilton Historical Commission.

Attend programs and events in the community room and story room, hosted by the Library or one of the many local organizations who utilize these spaces.

Peruse the bulletin boards in the entry ways and the general public information displayed on the oak bookcase in the fireplace room to get up-to-speed on various community events, non-profit organizations, and government services.

Children can enjoy playing with the toys and stuffed animals here, or stop by to color a picture to take home with them.  Or stay snug at home while enjoying our many online resources—eBooks, audiobooks, downloadable magazines, and language-learning database.

Our friendly, knowledgeable staff is waiting to greet you and help you use our many services and resources.

Additional information about Library resources, programs and policies, as well as access to our online services, is available through the Library website http://midyorklib.org/hamilton/.
