The Village of Canastota Recreation Commission is proud to present its 2016 Summer Concert Series line-up. Concerts are held Thursday evenings from June 30 through Aug. 18 at the International Boxing Hall of Fame events pavilion. All concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. and conclude at 8:30 p.m. Rain dates are noted below.

June 30: Canastota Community Band. You have heard them perform in local parades and community events, now come spend an evening and be entertained by your friends and neighbors. Rain date: Tuesday, July 5.

July 7: Matt Chase & Thunder Canyon. One of New York State’s finest country bands. Chase and company blend “new” country sounds in with “old school” sound that defines country music. Rain date: Tuesday, July 12.

July 14: Entourage. Enjoy a variety of music, including classic rock, pop, Motown, Funk, Soul, Disco, Rhythm and Blues and some cross-over country. Rain date: Tuesday, July 26.

July 21: The Joe Whiting Band. Joe and his band perform energetic, enthusiastic “ R n B “ – Rockin’ Blues – Blue Eyed Soul ( Americana) music. They have been pleasing audiences in venues throughout CNY for many years. Rain date: Tuesday, July 26.

July 28: The Tony Regulbuto Show feat. Command Performance. Come see this “Vegas-style” show band right in your own backyard.  This Canastota native is happy to be coming home to entertain you. Rain date: Tuesday, Aug. 2.

Aug. 4: The Party Nuts. A high-energy dance band featuring sax, trumpet, keyboard, guitar, bass, drums and vocals, the Party Nuts play everything from Glenn Miller and the Beatles to Motown and James Brown. Rain Date: Tuesday, Aug. 9.

Aug. 11: Joe Angerosa. One of the area’s favorites.  Enjoy an evening with “The King of Rock and Roll” as Angerosa plays the timeless hits of Elvis Presley. Rain Date: Tuesday, Aug. 16.

Aug. 18: Fabcats. A rock ‘n’ roll party experience that features the spirit of the 60s. From the British Invasion to the Motor City, to the West Coast! Rain Date: Tuesday, Aug. 23.
