Bryan Hill presents the Life Saving Award to Clinton High School nurse Mary Beth King and the family of Jace Janczewski.  In August of 2015, Mary Beth King and the COCVAC crew provided CPR and other life-saving interventions to Bryan Hill, after he collapsed at Clinton High School.  In typical EMS fashion, Jace Janczewski was not available to receive the award due to being on an EMS call.

Central Oneida County Volunteer Ambulance Corps (COCVAC) and its members were recognized for their achievements throughout the past year during the annual Medal Day Awards Ceremony Wednesday, May 18.

The annual Medal Day Award Ceremony is held as part of EMS Week, a celebration of emergency medical services throughout the nation.  In addition to marking EMS Week, COCVAC continued its celebration of its 45th anniversary.
