VNA-Homecare-Logo1The Visiting Nurse Association of Central New York, a division of VNA Homecare, has achieved accreditation status by Accreditation Commission for Health Care for its home health aide, medical social work, occupational therapy, physical therapy, skilled nursing and speech therapy services.

An independent not-for-profit corporation established in 1986, ACHC has gained respect and recognition as an accrediting organization uniquely committed to health care providers. ACHC is ISO 9001:2008 certified and
has CMS Deeming Authority for Home Health, Hospice and DMEPOS.

ACHC accreditation is a voluntary process in which health care organizations submit to a peer review of internal policies, processes and patient care delivery against national standards. By attaining accreditation, the Visiting Nurse Association of Central New York has demonstrated its commitment to meeting standards that facilitate a higher level of performance and patient care.

“The Visiting Nurse Association of Central New York has always maintained a commitment to outstanding patient care and operational excellence,” said Kate Rolf, President and Chief Executive Officer of VNA Homecare. “With the receipt of accreditation from ACHC, we have one more way to demonstrate this commitment to our patients and showcase our unwavering devotion to maintaining high-quality programs and services.”
