Families with children 2-years old up to 9 are invited to this month’s edition of Family Super Saturday, April 8, at 11 a.m. to meet special guests from the Oneida City Fire Department who will provide and show-and-tell about their emergency and rescue work.
Fire fighter Travis Krol will demonstrate special firefighting equipment and answer questions from the audience. The department also will have a fire engine in the OPL parking lot so the children can experience it up close. (Be aware that the firefighters and the engine will be on call in case of an emergency.)
In addition, Youth coordinator Megan Gillander will have a story, craft and activities to share with the children and their parents or guardians.
For more information, stop by Oneida Library, 220 Broad St., or call the library at 315-363-3050 and ask for Youth Services Coordinator Megan Gillander.
