Carter joined the Colgate staff in 2012 with marketing and promotions as her primary responsibilities. She oversees a number of department functions including ticketing, department interns, the cheer team and the Raider mascot.

“It gives me great pleasure to promote Yariv and Nathalie,” Colgate Vice President and Director of Athletics Victoria M. Chun ’91, MA’94 said. “They are two key members of our staff and both do outstanding work.  As we strive to achieve excellence in all we do, we are very lucky to have them as part of our Colgate athletics family.”

Nationally, Amir serves on the NCAA Division I Swimming & Diving Committee and on the Men’s Hockey National Recruiting Committee. On campus, he serves on the University’s Academic Affairs Board and the Middle States Accreditation Self Study Steering Committee.

Before coming back to his Alma Mater in the summer of 2015, Amir served for 14 years in the Department of Athletics at Princeton University. There he served various roles, most recently as the Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and previously in the Office of Athletic Communications. At Princeton he served on the Ivy League Digital Strategies Committee and was an NCAA Women’s Water Polo Committee member. Prior to working at Princeton, Amir spent on year working at USA Hockey as the Brian Fishman Intern in the organization’s public relations office.

Amir was a captain of the men’s rowing team at Colgate before graduating in 2001 with a degree in economics and international relations. He earned his Master of Business Administration from the Rutgers University Business School in 2010, specializing in marketing.

Carter serves on a number of Colgate committees including the Staff Affirmative Action committee and the Mosaic Advisory Board. Nationally, Carter is heavily involved with Women Leaders in College Sports (formally NACWAA) and has served as an organization mentor and a member of the awards committee.

Carter started at Colgate in compliance before moving into a marketing role. She came to Hamilton after serving one year as an administrative intern for the Georgia Soccer Association. Her duties included managing social media marketing campaigns and assisting with the registration and placement of 400 teams for tournaments and league play.

Prior to her work with the soccer association, Carter completed a two-year internship with Fox Sports Network/SportSouth as an assistant ticket manager and administrator. She organized and maintained the marketing inventory, while serving as a sales rep for NBA, NHL, MLB and SEC tickets.
