What: It hasn’t stopped raining for three months, now what?  How to reconcile a great pasture plan with what nature throws at you.

  • When: Wednesday July 12th from 6:30 – 8:30 pm.
  • Where:  GreyRock Farm 6100 East Lake Rd, Cazenovia
  • Who: Put on by a partnership between NRCS, Morrisville State College, and the Madison County Soil and Water Conservation District, and GreyRock Farm.
  • Why: A successful grazing season depends on careful planning and then flexibility to adjust when the weather or animals don’t cooperate with your plan.  Join us for the second in our series of pasture workshops to investigate the realities of a successful grazing season. This event is a pasture walk, so be prepared to be outside and in the field; it is appropriate for those just getting started or those that have been at it for a long while and are looking to improve pasture productivity. We thank GreyRock for opening their land to us. We will use Matt and his pastures to get our discussion going but all are welcome to come with questions and thoughts to share.

This is a free event.
