Do you love using your iPad and laptop at the Library? Need to charge your phone in a jiffy while out and about downtown? We’ve got you covered– many thanks to the Sigma Chi of Colgate Foundation for funding personal device charging stations for the Hamilton Public Library!

The Library now offers two device charging stations for your convenience—one in the teen space and the other in the genre room with our adult fiction collections. The charging stations feature multiple charger cords with a variety of sizes and styles to accommodate several patrons at once and many different types of devices.

Looking for a new home for your gently used books that are still in good condition, you can give them new life by donating them to the Friends of the Library for their annual book sale! The sale is held Labor Day weekend, but your literary donations may be brought to the Library during our regular hours beginning August 1st. Please be sure your donations are still current and in good condition. We ask that you please not leave books anywhere outside the Library building.

Small donations (less than a box) may be brought to the circulation desk, and our staff will be happy to tell you where to leave larger boxes or greater quantities. We are very appreciative of your support and generosity, and look forward to seeing you at the book sale later this summer!

Additional information about Library resources, programs and policies, as well as access to our online services, is available through the Library website midyorklib.org/hamilton/. From the website, you can also sign up for our listserv and Wowbrary notices to receive emails about general Library news and newly added materials in our collections! Follow us on Facebook for up-to- date information about programs, special events, and other general Library-related information facebook.com/HPL.books.

The Library is normally open Monday-Friday, 10am to 7pm, and Saturday, 10am to 1pm. Visit or call the Library (315) 824-3060 during these hours for assistance. The book drop at the front of the building is always available for your convenience.
