Raiders Add Four Players for Upcoming Season After Successful 2016-17 Campaign

Colgate men’s tennis head coach Bobby Pennington has announced the men’s tennis team’s Class of 2021, featuring four players from across the country.

“On paper this is my best male recruiting class in my eleven years at Colgate,” Pennington said.” We have four talented, hungry guys ready to make an immediate impact with a four-star and three three-star players.”

“The future is very bright and the best is yet to be.”

The Raiders finished the 2016-17 season with a 10-9 overall record as well as a 3-2 mark in Patriot League play. It was the fourth straight season the Raiders finished with at least 10 wins and a winning record in conference play.

The incoming freshman class will replace one of the most successful classes in program history and the most successful under Pennington, finishing with a 48-32 record over four years.
