Friends of Rogers invites community members to purchase a Shopping Pass for Boscov’s annual “Friends Helping Friends” event to be held Oct. 17. Priced at just $5 each, 100 percent of the proceeds from passes sold by Friends of Rogers go directly to support operations at Rogers Environmental Education Center in Sherburne.
“Friends Helping Friends” shopping passes are good for 25 percent off almost all purchases made Oct. 17. (Certain exclusions may apply; complete details are printed on Shopping Passes.) “Friends Helping Friends” runs from 9 a.m. until 11 p.m. at all 45 Boscov’s locations in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
Throughout the day, shoppers have the opportunity to win fabulous prizes, while enjoying refreshments and entertainment throughout the store.

director. “Pass holders get a head-start on holiday shopping during the ‘Friends Helping Friends’ event,
and Rogers Center receives much-needed financial support.”
“Friends Helping Friends” shopping passes can be purchased at NBT Bank in Sherburne or from Friends of Rogers during regular business hours.
Rogers Center is operated by Friends of Rogers Environmental Education Center, Inc., a nonprofit
organization that offers educational programs for people of all ages. Summer hours are from 10 a.m. to
4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
