Acting Madison County Sheriff John Ball will be the guest speaker at the Democratic caucus of the town of Lebanon Saturday, Aug. 19, at 10 a.m. He is the Democratic candidate for Sheriff in this years’ election, the former Undersheriff to former Sheriff Riley and the current active Sheriff for Madison County.

While only registered Democrats can vote in the caucus, anyone may attend to hear Acting Sheriff Ball’s comments. Party officials encourage all Lebanon Democrats and any other interested parties to attend. Refreshments will be available.

The caucus will be held at the Smith Valley Community Center in Randallsville at the intersection of River and Randallsville roads on Saturday, August 19 at 10 am.

Positions up for nomination include Town Supervisor, Town Clerk, Town Highway Superintendent, Town Justice and (2) Town Council positions.

Lebanon Democrats have hosted former Sheriff Riley, Madison County Landfill Director Jim Zecca and other statewide or county candidates at past caucuses.
