Head coach Curt Fitzpatrick announced the 2017 Football Leadership Council members Thursday, selecting representatives from each class for Mustangs this upcoming season.
“The Leadership Council is a group of players chosen from all classes – senior, junior, sophomore, and freshman – who have tremendous leadership potential and represent our program in all the right ways,” said Fitzpatrick.
“Our team voted these individuals to be the voice of the team. Many of these younger guys will probably be future captains in seasons to come,” he continued. “Our future is very bright.”
Those selected to the council include the following:
- Freshman linebacker Marc Eberley (Marcy/Whitesboro)
- Freshman wide receiver Jace Eastman (Mexico/Mexico)

- Sophomore running back Kinsey Williams (Holland Patent/Notre Dame)
