Rosamond Gifford Zoo invites kids to trick-or- treat with the animals at Zoo Boo The Rosamond Gifford Zoo will transform into a Halloween haunt where children can trick-or-treat with the animals at its annual Zoo Boo days the last two weekends of October.

This popular event offers a pre-Halloween party atmosphere with treat stations throughout the zoo, zookeeper demonstrations and animal encounters with some of the zoo’s creepier creatures, as well as ghostly games and a Monster Mash dance party, among other hauntingly hilarious activities in the spirit of the season.

Zoo Boo takes place Saturdays and Sundays Oct. 21, 22, 28 and 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine. The cost is $8 per child in addition to zoo admission (which is free to zoo members). Zoo Boo is presented by C&S Companies in partnership with the Friends of the Rosamond Gifford Zoo and Onondaga County Parks.

Children and their accompanying adults –are encouraged to wear their costumes and bring treat bags, or purchase a reusable Halloween treat bag for $1 each at the zoo.

Zoo Boo Activities Include:

Rosamond Gifford Zoo members may buy advance-sale tickets for Zoo Boo good for any of the four days at rosamondgiffordzoo.org/zoo-boo. The general public can buy tickets at the door the day of the Zoo Boo events. More information at rosamondgiffordzoo.org.
