On Monday, Nov. 20, at 6:30 p.m., the Utica Public Library in partnership with The League of Women Voters will present a screening of “Iron Jawed Angels.” 2017 is the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage in New York state.

New York was one of the first states to pass legislation giving women the right to vote. This 2004 film centers on the American women’s suffrage movement during the 1910s and explores the suffrage leaders and their strategies to both revolutionize and bring their goal to fruition.

Free to the public. For more information, call 315-735-2279.
