From Nov. 2 through 5, five members of Canastota High School’s FBLA chapter traveled to Buffalo to attend the Future Business Leaders of America National Fall Leadership Conference. Members attended a kick-off New York state meeting Friday, Nov. 3.

Along with more than 400 members from throughout the country, CHS members also attended two national general sessions on Friday and Saturday evenings where motivational speakers provided dynamic inspirational keynote addresses.

On Friday and Saturday members attended many informative workshops that were presented throughout the day. CHS Advisors, Robert Esposito and Elizabeth Garofalo presented a workshop on Career and Technical Education – Integrating Business Education. New York State FBLA was recognized for having the largest chapter delegation for this conference.

On Thursday evening, the CHS chapter traveled to Niagara Falls along with advisors Elizabeth Garofalo and the Morrisville State College FBLA-PBL advisor, Dr. Sherry Boyce.
