Following a one-month investigation, Madison County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators charged Richard J. Milgate, 32, of Oneida, with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance (B felony), third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (B felony), fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance (D felony), fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (D felony), seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (A misdemeanor) and fourth-degree conspiracy (E felony).
It is alleged that Milgate conspired with another person to engage in an illegal drug transaction.
It is also alleged that Milgate then sold a quantity of cocaine to another person on at least one occasion.
Milgate was arraigned and held at the Madison County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond.
