Buy your ticket for our Easter Basket Raffle going on until Friday, March 30. We will be raffling off two children’s Easter baskets. Get your tickets at the library or from any library trustee for $1 each. Winners will be announced March 30.

Friday, March 9, we will be having our Teen/Adult Movie Night at 7 p.m. We will be showing the movie, Murder on the Orient Express. This is rated PG-13, so no one under the age of 13 will be allowed in without a parent/guardian. We provide the popcorn; you bring your own beverage. Remember the movie ends after we close, so if you have library business to do, come early before the movie starts.

Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour, is going strong. Bring your toddler or preschool child in Tuesday, March 13, at 10 a.m. Help us have fun reading about “C is for Cookie.” Stories, fingerplays, a craft and more. If you can’t make that day, join us Tuesday, March 20, for stories about “Let’s Get Messy.”

Join us Wednesday, March 14, for our Plan, Prepare and Purchase program at 6:30 p.m. What’s for dinner? Every night we eat, so why is that concept so hard to plan? It can be frustrating, and that is when we tend to not eat wisely or as healthfully as we could. Who wants to make a meal at 6 p.m. at night after a busy day? We will help remedy that frustration. We will discuss and learn new ways to plan those weekly meals. Come join in the fun, learn some new ideas to make your hectic life easier when it comes to a healthier meal, stretch food dollars and enjoy a recipe sample. Sign up now if interested.

Our next book talk is Wednesday, March 21, at 6:30 p.m. We will be reading “What She Knew,” by Gilly Macmillan. Copies can be picked up now. Discussion is open to teens and adults. So grab a book, read it and come join us for a sure to be a fun discussion.

Are you a senior citizen? If so, RSVP with the support of the Morrisville Public Library will offer free income tax preparation for seniors 60 years and older. RSVP volunteers will be providing free income tax services now through April 14. Volunteers are certified by the IRS to complete your tax forms. Call Marie Smith at 315.684.3903 to sign up for your appointment to have your tax returns filed for free.

Be sure to utilize our new service, Curbside Delivery, available now. Call the library for more details. We will deliver your materials to your car between 3 and 5 p.m. Fridays.

We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 8 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
