BLOTTER: State Police – Utica man arrested for trademark counterfeiting

The New York State Police Special Investigations Unit in Utica announce the arrest of Bobby Ross, following an investigation of Trademark Counterfeiting in the city of Utica.

Investigators seized approximately $ 4,000.00 worth of counterfeit apparel which consisted of North Face Jackets, Nike sneakers, name brand purses, a small amount of U.S. currency and a 2016 Dodge Caravan used to transport and sell the merchandise from within.

Bobby Ross, 53, of 941 Stark Street, Utica, was charged with one count of Trademark Counterfeiting in the 2nd Degree, (E- Felony), Section 165.72 of the NYS Penal Law.

Ross was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the city of Utica Court April 4, 2018, at 9 a.m.

This investigation is ongoing, and additional charges in Oneida County are anticipated.
