Canalside Talk: ‘Canastota – Sense of Place’
The Second Canalside Talk of the year will be held on Thursday, April 26, at 7 p.m., at the Canastota Public Library. “Canastota—A Sense of Place” will feature both a historical and a future perspective of our wonderful community.
The people of the Canastota and its surrounding area have developed a sense of place through their experiences and knowledge. Canastota is a blending of its physical characteristics of place with its people through their memories, art and stories. Our shared experiences and history has helped our community from generation to generation. From the successes of our past to the new ventures that await us, the Canastota area and is a hotbed of hope and promise.
Special guests from the community will help Joe DiGiorgio from the Canal Town Museum with this presentation, which is free to the public.
