Movies Scheduled for May at the Canastota Public Library

Every Tuesday evening at 5 p.m., the Canastota Public Library shows a recently released movie. The movies are shown on the second floor of the Library in the Carnegie Room. All movies are free and open to the public.

In May, the following movies are scheduled:

On May 8, the library will show the war drama, “The Darkest Hour.” The movie is rated PG-13 and stars Gary Oldman and Kristin Scott Thomas.

The most recent version of Murder on the Orient Express will be the Tuesday movie on May 15. This show is rated PG-13 and stars Kenneth Branagh, Penelope Cruz, Willem Dafoe and many other stars. Passenger Hercules Poirot must solve the murder.

Goodbye Christopher Robin will be shown on May 22. It is the story of A.A. Milne and his son, Christopher Robin. The movie stars Domhnall Gleeson and Margo Robbie. It is rated PG.

The last movie in May will be shown on May 29. In The Mountain Between Us, two strangers, stranded after a plane crash, must forge a connection to survive. This PG-13 film stars Idris Elba, Kate Winslet and Beau Bridges.

The Canastota Public Library is located at 102 W. Center St., Canastota. The library has been providing services to the local community since 1896.
