Brindisi issues statement on DeWitt Clinton apartment development
Brindisi issued the following statement following the announcement from Gov. Andrew Cuomo that $10.2 million in financing is being awarded for the DeWitt Clinton Apartments in Rome.
The 80 affordable apartments will be a part of Rome’s Waterfront Village revitalization project.
“Good things are happening in Rome, and the addition of a significant new affordable housing project designed to combat homelessness is another positive development. These new apartments will serve as a major part of a waterfront revitalization project, and will meet a need in the community for new rental housing. I want to thank Governor Cuomo for his continuing commitment to neighborhood revitalization in Rome and many other communities statewide, and Mayor Izzo for her vision to move Rome forward.”
