The Gas and Oil Grill celebrates grand opening with a ribbon cutting

The Greater Oneida Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting to celebrate the grand opening of The Gas and Oil Grill Friday, June 1.

“The Gas and Oil Grill has been a dream of mine for a long time now,” said owner Dominique Borruso. “The decor speaks to the guests from my soul, as well as, and most importantly, does the food we serve. The past few years have brought an influx of new places to dine to the area, which is great, but my goal is to bring something to the area that will thrive by being unique and something bit different than what’s already here.”

The Gas and Oil Grill offers craft draft beers and wine on draft, in addition to the traditional bottled beers, mixed drinks, an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages, including their new milkshakes. They researched food from all over the country, then brought ideas back to their kitchen in Oneida and after many hours of testing and experimenting have brought new dishes to life that will form the basis of just some of the menu items they plan to offer.

Some of their menu highlights are in-house freshly made burgers and buns crafted daily, Hoffman hot dogs topped with homemade pulled pork, baked beans and coleslaw just to name a few. They use high-quality, fresh ingredients and while they are no longer the restaurant they used to be, they still have their famous coal-fired oven on premises and will continue to serve your favorite pizzas every day.

Check their Facebook page for hours, updates, pictures, and more info updated daily. Their full menu can also be viewed on their Facebook page, so you can see what’s new and maybe find a few of your old favorites on the menu as well.

“This is a crazy journey that has taken hard work and passion from a team of amazing people around me. The support has been inspiring and appreciated,” Borruso. “There is nothing more pleasing to me than saying goodbye to the Tuscan Oven, and hello to The Gas and Oil Grill. We hope you enjoy your dining experience with us. Come relax and have fun in our new atmosphere”
