CNY Roller Derby to host games in Rome
Central New York Roller Derby will host a double header game from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, at the John. F. Kennedy Arena in Rome. Admission at the door is $10 general, $5 for seniors, 12 years and under free with a supervising adult.

The Aug. 11 event will feature the CNY Nightmares and its neighbors from Syracuse, Assault City Roller Derby. The first game will be Assault City versus the visiting Albany All Stars, and the second game of the evening will be the CNY Nightmares versus the visiting Wilkes-Barre Scranton Roller Radicals. Join CNYRD for a party at The Mill in Rome the conclude the evening.
Following Saturday’s events, CNY Roller derby will host a Rookie Rumble game from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, at the John. F. Kennedy Arena in Rome.
Admission for all is free. This game will feature mixed teams of up-and-coming derby players, with approximately one year of experience, from all over the Northeast.
Tickets for all CNY Roller Derby events can be purchased in person at the venue entrance or online any time at www.ticketderby.com/event/250852. Events are family friendly, typically include food or concessions for sale. CNYRD events may also include a variety of entertainment such as mascots, vendors, crowd participation and more.
