Nina’s Brew and Veterans Night closes out the Concert on the Green series
The Hamilton Concerts on the Green series comes to a close Thursday, Aug. 16.
To honor the service of our veterans, Clear Path for Veterans will be on the Green with their puppies and dogs to present their dog therapy program. Clear Path empowers veterans and their families through supportive programs and services in a safe, respectful environment. All ice cream sales for the evening will be going to Clear Path.
Performing on the Green, from the great state of Vermont, will be the talented Nina’s Brew. Hailing from diverse musical backgrounds, Nina’s Brew is a melting pot of influence, genre and talent. The trio features Giovanina Bucci on rhythm guitar and vocals, Mike Brewster on lead guitar and vocals, and Isaac French on vocals, percussion and guitar. Their 7 p.m. performance will be uniquely infectious
and soulful and not to be missed.
J.J Murphy, who was originally scheduled for this time slot, had to cancel, but we look forward to enjoying his music the next time he is in Hamilton, his hometown.
As always, come at 5:30 p.m. and picnic on the Green and bring the kids to play lawn games. The music begins at 7 p.m. In the case of rain, the music will be held at the Palace Theater (19 Utica St.)
