Summer Reading, “Libraries Rock!” is over! Congrats to our 49 out of 95 graduates who read a total of 1,215 hours! So YES they did get to SLIME the Library Manager!!! Congratulations kids!

Be sure to join us for our new program, BLOX, Lego Club Wednesday, Sept. 5, from 4 to 6 p.m. Come join the fun! We provide the Legos; please come and show us your expertise! Topics change every time we meet but building and fun is what it’s all about! All ages are welcome (young and old) and you do not need to attend every time! Come when you can! Please bring a healthy snack if you can! (This club meets every month!)

Friday, Sept. 7, starts our Fall History Series with Morrisville Businesses Then & Now, Historic Talk at 6:30pm! Join Village and Town Historian, Sue Greenhagen, as she shares with us what our Morrisville businesses (store fronts) looked like then and what is there now!

Every month we will host an Adulting class for patrons ages 15-25 (though all ages over 15 are welcome!) Wednesday September 12 is our first one, Basics of Sewing Part 1 at 6:30 p.m. Don’t know how to sew? Need to remember how? This is for you! Learn the basics of sewing and leave with your own potholder created by YOU! If you have a sewing machine or can borrow one, please bring it! ALL participants need to bring ½ yard of material as well! All materials will be provided. We will have another sewing class in the future so stay tuned for more details!

Don’t forget we host “Play Mahjong!’ every Monday from 1 to 3 p.m. Like to play Mahjong?  Want to learn how to play without using the computer?  Willing to teach young and old!  Come join the fun!

We are running our summer hours. That means we will be closed Saturdays through Labor Day. We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday closed.
