Cazenovia Public Library to Present RBG Documentary

The Cazenovia Public Library will present two free screenings of RBG (2018) Wednesday, Sept. 5 at 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room. The critically acclaimed documentary film explores the extraordinary life, career and legacy of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Ginsburg is the second female justice to be confirmed to the Supreme Court of the United States. She was appointed by President Bill Clinton and took the oath of office in 1993. Recently, Ginsburg has become an unexpected pop culture icon. The film explores R.B.G.’s unique personal journey to the nation’s highest court, and highlights her legal work on behalf of women’s rights and rights for minorities.

The film is rated PG and runs 98 minutes. Free popcorn provided. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Cazenovia Public Library.
