One-car crash in Boonville sends driver and four children to local hospital

State Police in Remsen are investigating a one-car crash that occurred Monday, Oct. 8, on Egypt Road in the town of Boonville, Oneida County.
Investigation revealed a 2005 Jeep Cherokee, operated by Marissa M. Loomis, 34, of Lee Center, was eastbound on Egypt Road and approaching a curve in the roadway, at an unsafe speed, when the vehicle traveled off the roadway, went airborne and struck a tree.

Marissa Loomis was transported to St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica with non-life threatening injuries. Haley M. Loomis (14), Lillian Corigliano (14), Adalynn M. Loomis (9) and Waylon J. Loomis (4) were all passengers in the vehicle and were transported to St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation continues.
