Bridgeport: Three charged with manufacturing meth following execution of search warrant

On October 12, 2018, State Police executed a search warrant at 515 Shackelton Point Road, Bridgeport, following a methamphetamine investigation.

Investigators discovered the following within the residence:  Approximately (5) ounces of liquid methamphetamine, a gas generator, and several items used in the manufacturing of Meth. In addition, approximately (1) gram of meth was located on an individual, later identified as James Entwistle.

Laurie A. Colin (age 53), James L. Entwistle (age 34) and Jason M. Walters (age 32) from 515 Shackelton Point Rd. Bridgeport, NY, were all arrested for (1) count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2nd degree, (class “A” felony), (1) count of Unlawful Manufacturing of Methamphetamine in the 3rd degree (class “D” felony). Entwistle was also charged with (1) count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree (class “A” misdemeanor).

All (3) defendants were arraigned in the town of Sullivan court and were remanded to the Madison County Correctional facility without bail.

Members from the New York State Police Special Operations Response Team (SORT), Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team (CCSERT), Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) Central, and the Madison County Sheriff’s Office assisted with this investigation.
