Local students receive Transfer Achievement Scholarships from SUNY Oswego

SUNY Oswego has awarded Transfer Achievement Scholarships to a select group of students from the area who started at the college in fall 2018. Among them are:

  • Jessica MacKay of West Keeney Road in Truxton, an electrical and computer engineering major
  • Sara Collier of Wellington Drive South in Cazenovia, a public relations major
  • Kristen L. Alger of Marsh Mill Road in Kirkville, a graphic design major
  • Jacob F. Boland of Elkhorn Road in Manlius, a business administration major
  • Elizabeth A. Evans of Cogswell Avenue in Syracuse, a human development major

The awards are part of about $7 million in merit scholarship money offered at SUNY Oswego. These funds are in addition to approximately $80 million in need-based grants, loans, work-study and scholarship awards that SUNY Oswego students receive annually.
