Syracuse man charged with making threatening phone calls to anonymous women
State police arrested David L. Rooney, 48, of 1207 Almond St., Syracuse, for second-degree aggravated harassment and fourth-degree stalking, both misdemeanors.
Rooney is accused of anonymously calling victims and using violent sexual language to threaten physical harm. He was lodged at the Onondaga County Justice Center pending arraignment.
State police conducted the investigation with the assistance of the Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office.
