Brindisi: Utica veterans housing project will provide needed support

Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi today issued the following statement regarding the opening today of a $3.2 million supportive housing project for veterans and their families at the Utica Center for Development’s Central New York Veterans Outreach Center:

“There is a great need for safe, supportive housing for veterans and their families in the Mohawk Valley region. I was pleased to work with my other colleagues in government to help the Utica Center for Development achieve their vision for a program that will help homeless veterans and their family members get back on their feet.  I am confident this project will serve as a model for providing comprehensive services to those who have served our country.”
