GSC offers Winter Wonderland Kids Christmas Craft workshop
The Great Swamp Conservancy of Canastota presents a family friendly afternoon of Christmas crafts for children to make as gifts for that special person.
From 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 8, ages 5 and up can create unique holiday crafts. Four craft stations will be set up and two stations may be chosen for $3 (members) and $4 (non-members). Additional craft stations can be attended at a cost of $2 each. One of the stations will be to paint on a mini-canvas, which includes a display stand.
Instructors will give step-by-step directions at each station.
Finished-quality crafts can be proud gifts to give to family and friends. Parents can join their children or enjoy refreshments in a designated area while kids make secret Santa gifts.
Hot cocoa, Christmas cookies and music will be added to this Winter Wonderland afternoon.
