“More than $55,000 was raised from this wonderful annual event, which brings community partners together to share in the overall care of our community and beyond,” said Community Memorial President and CEO Sean Fadale. “We appreciate all who came out for the event and the many businesses and individuals that support us through sponsorships and items for our silent auction.”

Accepting the $5,000 check on behalf of SOMAC is Kerry Rice, Midstate Emergency Medical Services paramedic; and Kyle Sylvester, SOMAC director of operations.

Two separate checks were presented for a total of $15,000; $10,000 was presented to the Community Memorial Hospital Auxiliary for their ongoing support of the hospital and $5,000 went to SOMAC for the purchase heart monitors.

“The hospital designated funds to offset the cost of the purchase of a new CT unit and the renovations that will enhance our patient experience,” said Community Memorial Foundation Board Chair Julie Rubenstein.

The 2019 Share in the Care Gala is planned for Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019, at the Hall of Presidents. For more information, contact the Foundation office at 315.824.7036 or jbalog@cmhhamilton.com.
