Three charged in connection with meth lab operation

During the early morning hours of Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018, members of the Oneida City Police, Madison County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Unit and the state police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team executed a no-knock search warrant at the upstairs apartment of 307 Lenox Ave., Oneida.

Three individuals were located inside of that apartment and were taken into custody.

During the search Investigators located additional evidence of illegal methamphetamine manufacturing, and the unlawful disposal of same.

This search warrant was the culmination of an investigation conducted by the Oneida City Police Department’s Investigations Unit, followings tips from members of the community.

Based on the investigation and evidence found, investigators have arrested the suspects on the following charges:

Tanya M. Chesebro, 37, was charged with one count of second-degree criminal possession of meth manufacturing materials.

Lianna Boyce, 27, was charged with one count of second-degree criminal possession of meth manufacturing materials. She was also held on an outstanding unrelated bench warrant.

John Chesebro, II, 36, was charged with one count each of second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, one count of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, one count of criminal possession of precursors of methamphetamine, one count of unlawful disposal of meth lab materials, one count of second-degree criminal possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

This is the 18th methamphetamine manufacturing lab located in the city of Oneida this year.
