Children are invited to ring in 2019 at noon New Year’s Eve, Monday, Dec. 31, with a special celebration at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo.
Noon Year’s Eve is a kid-style New Year’s party that keeps bed-time in mind – complete with a dance party, noisemaker parade and ball drop countdown at noon.
The festivities begin at 10 a.m. with a dance party and face-painting at the zoo’s banquet room. The first 500 children will receive a free goody bag with a noisemaker for the Noon Year’s parade at 11:45 a.m. The countdown and ball drop will take place in the zoo courtyard at noon.
The event is free to zoo members and with zoo admission. Guests are free to explore the zoo after the Noon Year’s party.
